Celebrate the Season with Launchpad’s Carols by Candlelight

Launchpad is thrilled to invite you to a heartwarming evening of festive cheer at Carols by Candlelight, taking place on Tuesday 2 December 2025 at Reading Town Hall. Doors open at 5pm, and the show starts at 6pm.

This much-loved event will be hosted by Launchpad Patron and BBC presenter Matt Allwright, alongside Kirsti Wilson, Launchpad’s Head of Marketing and Fundraising. Together, they’ll guide guests through a magical evening of music, readings, and stories of hope.

This year’s musical performances will feature the incredible talents of The Tonyx and Universal Voices, two choirs guaranteed to bring the spirit of the season to life. Alongside traditional carols, you’ll hear inspiring stories of how your support helps Launchpad provide vital housing and support to people in Reading facing homelessness.

Every ticket sold helps Launchpad offer warm, safe, and supported accommodation to over 100 vulnerable individuals, couples, and families this winter—giving them a place to call home during the most difficult time of year.

Kirsti Wilson, Head of Marketing and Fundraising at Launchpad, said:

“Carols by Candlelight is a beautiful celebration of community, compassion, and Christmas spirit. It’s a chance to come together, reflect, and support those who need it most. We’d love for you to join us.”

Tickets start at £14, and children under 3 go free. To book your place and find out more, visit launchpadreading.org.uk/carols2025
