Do you love the beautiful, colour saturated landscapes of Christabel Forbes? This is the perfect opportunity to learn about drawing directly from her.
Inspired by observational drawing, in and out of the studio, you will learn different drawing techniques. You will build up a portfolio of drawings which will guide you into a world of your imagination. The course will begin by drawing before experimenting with mixed media and colour.
Christabel Forbes: 'I love to draw from observation. Inspired by my surroundings, I begin with a walk. I look for ideal places to nestle before working en plein air. Using mixed media on paper, I aim to capture the atmosphere of a place using colour and form, which is often developed further in my home studio.'
