Cuban Salsa Styling & Musicality workshop

Join us to celebrate our 9th year Anniversary on Sunday 13th of October 2024!
We are celebrating this special occasion with an amazing 2 hours Cuban Salsa Fusion workshop with two renowned Cuban dancers and artists: Oscle & Lisi. A Cuban salsa fusion class with focus on styling and musicality for both men & women.
Programe:
- 3 – 4pm: Styling & Musicality for both men & women (by Lisi)
- 4 – 5pm: Styling & Musicality for both men & women (by Oscle)
- 5 – 6:30pm: Cake & Social time
Level: Everyone is welcome, but please note that to make the most of this workshop salsa basic footwork is needed.
Your teachers for the day: Oscle & Lisi
Oscle is a professional Cuban dancer, performer and teacher. His professional career started at the prestigious Tropicana Dance School. He received comprehensive training that covered a wide variety of dance styles, classical ballet, Modern Dance, Afro Cuban Dances, Cuban popular dances, and flamenco.
Lisi is a professional Cuban dancer, performer and teacher. She received her training at the esteemed Dance School of Cuba, studied at the UAD Ballet Español de Cuba, where she trained in classical ballet, Spanish dance, modern dance, music, and flamenco.
Both of them have performed internationally in renowned theaters, stages and festivals. They have also danced at the red carpet premiere of the film Cuban Fury in London and appeared in music videos for famous Cuban artists such as Los Van Van (“Somos Diferentes”), El Niño y la Verdad (“Vuelve a la Havana”) and others.

On the day:
- Wear comfortable clothes
- Bring water with you and make sure you stay hydrated through the class
- Location: MAPP Centre (22-24 Mount Pleasant, Reading, RG1 2TD).
- There is FREE limited parking space available on site. On-street parking space is also available.
- Please aim to arrive 5-10 minutes before the class starts so we can kick things off right on time!
