Attempting to do justice to half a century of groundbreaking music, Blue Collar will be marking the 50th anniversary of hip hop with a block party hosted by our resident rap tripod, Rum n Donuts.
Taking place on the same date as DJ Kool Herc’s famous back-to-school party in the Bronx that birthed the movement, look forward to six hours of looped beats and street eats from the second the needle drops at 6pm.
Expect everything from Bambaataa to Biggie and Lil’ Kim to Little Simz. B-boys & b-girls; diarise the date and dress to impress.
