Print Your Own Fabric with Cath Baldwin

Learn how to create a repeating pattern by hand using a simple traditional, but effective approach, then transfer to a lino-printing block and carve in order to then print your own unique fabrics.

You will have the opportunity to explore colour, working with a variety of different inks and coloured fabrics. You will be shown how to design your block, and to safely use cutting tools and studio equipment. Cath will be on hand all day to support and advise.

Please note:

- You must be 16 years of age or older to attend

- Please bring: a sketchbook and pencils, plus ideas, images, or pattern samples that you would like to use as the starting point for your fabric design

- All other materials, including fabric, inks and lino will be provided. You will complete the day with a variety of exceptional, hand printed fabrics ready to be made into cushion covers, bags and more.
