Wild About Insects!

Part of Wild About Reading

On Friday 7th June, the Cole Museum will once again be opening its doors as part of the Wild About Reading event, to welcome the public to our “Wild About Insects” day!

From 11am-4pm, we will be focussing on all things entomological; with a series of talks, tours of our entomology labs, and guided insect walks in our very own Harris Gardens! We will have examples from our entomology collections, as well as some live insects, and for the little ones there will be a few arts and crafts activities.

The Cole Museum will also be open, so why not take the opportunity to have a look round our wonderful museum! And if you need any refreshments or a memento from your visit, the Trilobite Café and our gift shop will be open until 4pm.

For more information on timings of talks and tours, please see the event page on our website: https://collections.reading.ac.uk/cole-museum/event/wild-about-insects/
