"Hey folks — sadly we’ve got to pull the plug of our Deck The Hulls Charity gig on 13th December at the Facebar
Our drummer’s shoulder has decided to tap out early and is currently refusing to play anything more complicated than “one-armed triangle.”
We’re gutted to cancel, but we’d rather give him a chance to heal properly than wheel him onstage like a busted office chair.
Huge thanks for your support — we’ll be back smashing out bangers as soon as his shoulder stops acting like a diva.
Stay tuned for the new date, and send him your best wishes (or shoulder-related puns, he deserves those)."
Mr Grey’s Jailhouse Jukebox is a 4 piece band of serving members of the UK Emergency Services playing 100% CERTIFIED BANGERS.
But MGJJ is not just a band; it's a portal to the past, a celebration of the present, and a glimpse into the future of live music. With a repertoire spanning across decades, from Elvis Presley to The Rolling Stones, from Tina Turner to Queen, and from the Beatles to The Killers, their eclectic songbook has something for everyone, whether you're a die-hard classic rock aficionado or a modern chart-topper enthusiast.
They return to the Face Bar this December for a special charity gig raising money for the RNLI. Tickets are £10, to include buffet - with all ticket money minus food costs to go to the RNLI.
