Kids (with their Adult) Woodturning Taster Session

Imagine stepping into a world of tools and wood, where together you create something magical - a wooden spinning top! 

Learning the ropes of woodturning, discovering the essentials of using a lathe and tools. It's an ideal way to dip your toes into a new hobby and have a creative family adventure.

This session is a perfect opportunity to unwind, laugh, and learn together. You'll connect with fellow crafty families in a supportive environment, gaining confidence and sparking creativity. 

What’s included?

• a two hour session of woodturning
• All tools, safety kit and materials
• A tree is planted with Ecologi for every booking.

Suitable for ages 9+, must be accompanied by an adult.

What Will We Make On Each Date?

29th August – In the morning session make some colourful spinning tops or book for the afternoon and make a real working ballpoint pen.

31st October – We’ll be making magic wands in both sessions, just in time for Halloween.

19th December – We’ll be making Christmas tree decorations in both sessions.
