There's lots for families of all ages to do this October half term at The Museum of English Rural Life!
- Discover our seasonal Family Activity Packs for all ages (from £2 per pack)
- Join us for Railway 200 Big Draw for free drop-in actitivites on Thursday 30 Oct
- Have a go at a variety of gallery and garden trails including our woodland brass rubbing trail
- Free hands-on make-and-take activities
- Try your hand at brass rubbing (subject to room availability)
- Explore the museum garden and enjoy our play-on tractor and wagon
- Check out our exhibition, Forty Farms, in the garden
Bookable events
- Green Explorers, our monthly nature and bushcraft sessions for families on Sunday 26 Oct. Bookings open 2 weeks before the session and is for children aged 5+ (and accompanying adults).
- Museums, My Way, a themed session for neurodivergent visitors, on Monday 27 Oct
- Traditional ink making and writing workshops on Sunday 2 Nov (part of Jane Austen 250)
