Civic Carol Service 2023

Reading Minster will again open its doors for the Civic Carol Service on Thursday 14 December.

An evening of carols and lessons retelling the story of the Nativity is again being hosted by Reading Minster of St Mary the Virgin, in St Mary’s Butts, at 6.30pm

The free Civic Service is a highlight of the town’s festive season, and members of the public are welcome to join. The service includes carols for the whole congregation to join in with, as well as performances from the Minster Choir.

Festive refreshments served after the service.
