John Wesley Harding, (known to his friends as Wesley Stace, or simply Wes), is one of the UK’s most acclaimed songwriters you’ve probably never heard of! Since the early ’90s, Wes has called the USA home, sharing stages with legends including Bruce Springsteen, Lou Reed, Iggy Pop, Nile Rodgers, and John Prine.
In February 2026, Wes returns to the UK for three exclusive shows, one of them at South Street. Expect an unforgettable evening featuring songs from his extraordinary 30 year career, alongside a selection of handpicked covers. Renowned for his razor-sharp wit and storytelling, Wes delivers performances that are true masterclasses in entertainment.
Supporting him is his longtime friend David Lewis, a gifted songwriter who has co-written a number of songs with Wes and released five albums of thoughtful folk-pop. David will be previewing tracks from his forthcoming album, due for release in February 2026.
