Creative Connection - Through A Different Lens X Directors UK
We'll be hosting Director UK to share how they work with film and TV directors across the industry with a range of short films plus drinks. Whether you are a filmmaker, creative or just keen to know what industry support there is, this promises to be a fun evening of film, catch ups and discussion.
At Through A Different Lens we love film and we love to bring people together. We host film screening events with a focus on underrepresented stories and talent. Our experience includes running film festivals, working on film sets, developing films and outreach and engagement for the creative industries. We believe in great communication, creating immersive experiences and helping everyone to connect with stories and each other.
We will always champion and showcase diversity on screen and behind the camera to as wide and diverse an audience as possible, showcasing storytelling from filmmakers and creatives.
With so many creative people in the area we are keen to support local creativity - so whether you are a writer, filmmaker, print maker, painter, designer, muscian + more, come along and grow your connections and develop collaborations.
We are an open and inclusive space so even if you are not a creative but just want to watch films you will be welcome. We'll be showing some short films with plenty of time to mingle and chat in the foyer afterwards.

Plan for the evening:
- 1830 -1930 - short film screenings and discussion from film makers
- 1930 - 2030 onwards - Chat/mingle in the workspace area of the foyer
An extensive selection of drinks of all kinds available from the RBF bar
