The Centre for Heritage and Family History is run by Berkshire Family History Society, a registered charity, who works to meet the needs of those researching their ancestry across the UK and overseas – as well as those looking for former relatives in historic Berkshire.

The Centre provides the area’s best family history research facility and it’s free to visit. It also hosts a lively activities and events programme: talks, walks, courses and workshops deliver updated perspectives and help place research findings into better historical context.
