The Concert Hall and the Berkshire Organists' Association present a series of lunchtime organ recitals by locally and nationally renowned organists.
All recitals begin at 1pm and last approximately 45 minutes.
Callum Knox
Callum Knox is an emerging organist from Australia. Currently Organ Scholar at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle, he was previously Organ Scholar at the Royal Hospital Chelsea and St Mary's Bourne Street.
Prior to his move to London, Callum studied at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, where he won several prizes throughout his undergraduate degree. He was Assistant Organist at St Mary’s Cathedral, Sydney (2023-24), where he directed and accompanied the choir of boys and men at the daily choral Vespers and Mass liturgies. Prior to this, he was Organ Scholar at St James' King Street, Sydney (2020-23) and Junior Organ scholar at St Andrew's Cathedral, Sydney (2019), following five years as a boy chorister in the cathedral choir.

Our much-loved Father Willis Organ is at the heart of our recital programme. To keep it sounding at its very best, it needs not only to be played regularly but also to receive ongoing care, maintenance and attention — all of which come at a significant cost.
You can help keep the organ alive by choosing what you pay for your recital ticket.
The minimum ticket price is £5 in advance (£7 on the door), but if you are able, you may choose to pay other amounts up to £20.
Every contribution helps us care for this remarkable instrument and ensure that it can continue to be enjoyed for many years to come. Thank you for your support and generosity.

The Pantry Cafe will be open before the Organ Recital for recital attenders.
11.30am - 12.45pm
Serving light snacks, hot & cold drinks.

The Berkshire Organists' Association is proud to support the series of organ recitals on the historic Father Willis organ in the Concert Hall, ensuring that this important instrument is played and heard regularly.
Our association was formed in 1921 with the aims of promoting the art of organ playing, bringing the organ and its music to the public, and providing advice and support to players. We hold regular organ-related events monthly for members, including social gatherings and visits to churches, cathedrals and concert halls across Southern England. We also arrange public organ concerts in local churches.
New members, who need not be players, can be assured of a very warm welcome. We hope that anyone interested in the organ and its music will join us.
