Berkshire Ornithological Club
Berkshire Ornithological Club
Berkshire Ornithological Club (BOC) is a charity established to promote education and the study and conservation of wild birds in Berkshire, UK. We have a full programme of activities including regular field trips and talks, survey work and publication of reports on the status of birds in Berkshire.
Our members come from diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, including people who are simply interested in their garden birds, local birders, dedicated 'twitchers' and professional ornithologists. The thing we all have in common is an interest in watching and learning more about wild birds, their habits, welfare and conservation.
New members are always welcome.
Our meetings and field trips are open to non-members and are free of charge.
