From Horse to Electric: The Rise and Fall of Reading's Tramways

The History of Reading Society are holding their December meeting online, on Wednesday 16th December at 7.30pm, when Dr Richard Marks will tell us about 'From Horse to Electric: The Rise and Fall of Reading's Tramways'.

Richard is a published historian and lecturer with a wide ranging expertise in many fields including Victorian, industrial, military and railway history. In this new talk, he will take you on a journey, describing the evolution of tramways in Reading, how they worked and their ultimate demise.
