London has many diverse and different markets - some of them have been there for 1000 years. Many of them first appeared in Medieval times and are still there today. Each has a fascinating story and specialises in a variety of different offerings. Alan Fitzgerald’s presentation examines some of the most popular ones in the City of London and surrounding parishes
Alan Fitzgerald, since finally retiring, has spent time pursuing his enthusiasms and interests, so several of his talks reflect those passions and are based around the city of "London" which is the basis for some of his presentations. He updates them regularly and often tries to introduce a couple of new ones every year. A regular presenter to u3a’s, NT and Rotary groups in the Thames Valley for a number of years, he currently gives talks about twice a month.
