The Townsfolk of Reading have much to thank the Franciscan brothers who have ministered to the sick of the town for nigh on 50 years.
Yet the brothers still live on the flooded marshes by Caversham Bridge, granted to them begrudgingly by Reading Abbey.
Until today.
South Street is proud to present this very special seven-minute performance for one person at a time, as part of the celebrations for 900 years of Reading’s historic Abbey.
