Heritage Open Days 2026: Reading University RAG Parade Walk

A nostalgic circular walk through the streets of Reading retracing the route of the1984 RAG Float Parade. Raising and Giving (RAG) has long been at the heart of Reading Students Union’s fundraising spirit. The walk will revisit the energy and excitement of past RAG parades through photographs, stories, memories and jokes of the era. The walk is led by Terry’s Reading Walkabouts and charitable donations are welcome on the day.
