Discover 400 acres of the National Trust’s historic parkland and gardens centred around an 18th century Palladian villa. From its origins connected to the East India Company, to a WWII army base and a glamourous home in the 1950s, the history of Basildon Park is a rich and interesting one. The house has a collection of fine furnishings and carefully selected Old Masters. Free during Heritage Open Days.
